Each image reflects an essence or abstract account of events, leaving the viewer searching for familiar forms within the composition. Tonal gradations, ranging from white to black, flows throughout this series of photographs, contouring around distant familiar forms. Fragments of reality are suggested but not defined, appearing hauntingly ambiguous. Both imagination and memory merge together to form a sense of loss and tension, capturing a visual record of a fleeting moment.
